Sorry I have taken so long to respond. Your service and delivery was very prompt. I appreciate that. I use to buy this coffee in five pound bags at the Strauss warehouse in Placerville. They sold their business to Foothill Food Service and I continued to buy this coffee from them...the coffee was delicious.
Foothill moved their company to a Camino warehouse where customers were not allowed on the property due to insurance purposes. I had to meet the owner at a designated area to pickup my order. This was not convenient for me. The coffee beans in the five pound bags were always very fresh and oily in appearance and were very aromatic. Because of the inconvenience I decided to purchase them directly from you. I found the flavor was not the same. The beans were a light brown and looked dry, not oily and fresh. They barely had any aroma and the taste was very bland. I was disappointed. I may try getting them from Foothill again, but i'm not looking forward to that. Could I have just received an old batch of beans? Thankyou for contacting me. Sincerely,
At first I thought labelling this brand “America’s Greatest” on the packaging was some kind of superfluous marketing rouse and I was ready to guffaw, but this brand really lives up to it’s name. The best American brand coffee I’ve had thus far. I purchased the espresso bean variety and it is lovely — bold and smooth, nutty, and satisfying, and not bitter AT ALL. Most American roasters are bitter to some extent. Really glad I found this!
Great tasting coffee with a good buzz that gets you going! Top notch 😎
